Delicious pastry filled with grape jam, it is considered one of the best sweets of the Teramo tradition.

 

Preparation

Put the flour on a surface forming a fountain than add the whole eggs, the egg yolks, butter, milk and the baking powder. Knead everything as far as obtained a soft and homogeneous consistency.
Prepare the inside mixing the jam with pieces of candies, toasted ground almonds, chocolate, cinnamon and lemon zest.
Spread a thin layer of pastry into the molds, put the inside in the middle and cover it with another layer of pastry.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes.

 

Ingredients
600 gr. of flour, 100 gr. of butter, 4 egg yolks, 2 whole eggs, 1 tables poon of milk, a pinch of baking powder, 500 gr. of grape jam, candies, cinnamon, toasted and ground almonds, lemon zest, chopped chocolate.
