We are in the northern Abruzzo, the valley takes the name from Tordino river and confines in the most inside part with Monti della Laga and downstream with the Adriatic sea. The area is crossed by A14 highway and National Road 16, from the Pedemontana Abruzzo-Marche in its central part and by National Road 80 and the parallel called "Teramo-Mare". The railroad connect Teramo to Giulianova.
Worthy of note are the cities of Cortino, with its green and the millennial firs; Castellalto sets in panoramic position between Tordino and Vomano rivers; Mosciano Sant’Angelo, famous center of craftsmanship furniture; Bellante with a splendid sight of Montagna dei Fiori and Adriatic sea.
