Departing from Crognaleto go toward Valle Vaccaro-Cervaro through road S.P. 45.
You go beyond Valley Vaccaro crossroad and continue till the small suburb of Cervaro.
Here from Frattaroli (where there is a fountain) and climb toward Cesacastina. Once you reach the country turn on the right behind an old school, in which begins the excavated road.
You climb up to "Prati delle Macchie", where you can see a characteristic refuge for sheep, go over it to the right and keep on climbing on a route that is crossed by a slipped road.
From here go on till Colle di Pietra and continue to go down on the excavated road that will brings you to Altovia. Taking the asphalted road toward left, after a light latch you reach the country of Altovia (1183 ms). You continue in descent up to S.P. 45 and turn to the right in direction San Giorgio-Crognaleto. To the following crossroad take to the right the road in descent and you reach Crognaleto, that is the final stage of the run.
