From Fano Adriano begins to walk passing beside a wood of beech trees where the first white trail signs are visible red.
Then continue on the pastures holding the trail signs on the left and at the end of a skilift move to the left, go on along the chair lift to go out, after few, on the pastures in plain with sight on Corno Grande and Corno Piccolo. Overcome an intermediary station of chair lift then reach the pylon n. 18 of the chair lift set to around 1600 meters.
Left the road to the right and the trail signs for the Source Incodara then continue along the chair lift, and then, near the following pylon, divert to the right for the drovers path. This path will lead you into the wood, and from here revolved the summit of Colle Abetone till the end of the chair lift, it leads you to a clearing (more than 1700 meters).
You keep on climbing till a wide path that climbs side to a stone sandstone. leave to the left a small rocky crest and go down to Prati di San Pietro(1790 meters), and near here Colle Andreole.
The path to Rifugio del Monte(1614 meters). To west you can see Intermesoli, Corno Grande and Corno Piccolo.
