From Pietracamela on Prati di Tivo

The field trip starts in Pietracamela, where you can stop to visit the Museo dell’Alpinismo, the rocky gym of aquilotti del Gran Sasso, and you can also admire the cave paintings of Montauti. Continuing in slope you can reach the channel of leafy branch of the Enel that conducts you up to the Sentiero Italia e Terre Alte. Following, the run is coasted along on the right the Rio Porta that leads to the wood. Once arrive in Fonte Monache take the Traie trail till Case Mirichigni. From there, cross the roads in the area nominated “a pascolo”, this roads leads you through a ditch first and a brief slope later. After the brief slope there is the paved road, also called Anello di Prati di Tivo. From this point cross the Prati Bassi, that is a road surrounded by beech trees, it leads to the Prati di Tivo main square (1450 m.)..)
