From the church’s square of Nerito, by car, cross the road that climbs on the slant that dominate the country, it enters into the wood and reach a picnic area of the Park (to 4 km from the fraction) to few meters from Favacchiole Source.
You go on, on foot, the road reaching after few meters the end of the asphalted line. Here turn for a wide path, that climbs to a balcony and then move on toward the old and suggestive mule track that connected the suburb of Nerito to the mountain.
Follow the road till you reach a slant covered by brooms and junipers, here the path splits in half. Take the easiest run that will offer you a beautiful sight on the peaks of Laga.
You reenter into the wood, you will reach a zone of big rocks, over which you can see Corvo Mountain. Here the path climbs with some returning and with a ramp from which you can see Corvo Mountain, Intermèsoli and Gran Sasso corns.
You continue on a wide grassy band from which will appear Laga, Prato Selva and Fosso di Nerito. The run reach a summit to more than 1600 meters over which the ridge tightens and it is again surrounded by the wood.
You can finish the walk here, while for those who prefer to continue it is necessary to overcome a narrow and woody line to reach Fonte del Papa and keep on climbing. From here you can reach Cardito mountain (1740 meters). The descent requires around a hour and half up to Source Favacchiole.
