From Castelli to Fondo della Salsa

From Castelli you can go to the near village of San Salvatore, situated to an altitude of 700 m.; from there you can start the excursion in which it is possible to admire the north side of Monte Camicia.

Following a comfortable footstep, that salt through the faggeta, you can reach the rocky Fosso Morto, turning to the left you can take the Piergiorgio De Paulis trail, that leads to the panoramic Fondo della Salsa amphitheatre . From there you can go through Fosso Leomogna, and reach the Cippi ai caduti di Montagna, situated at the base of the north side of Monte Camicia, and near the cross road of Sentierio dei Quattro Vadi .
