Ancient Benedictine church built in the twelfth century, in principle presented a rectangular plan with a single nave that ended with the apse. In the first half of the twentieth century it was renovated and enlarged, adding another nave perpendicular to the first. The gable roof is made with exposed wooden trusses and the facade is very elegant and simple at the same time is embellished with a large rose just below the pediment. The lunette that surmounts the door contains 39 ceramic tiles that, as in a mosaic, form a scenario in which we recognize San Vito, Sant'Antonio and the Madonna Assunta in the sky. On the short side there is a remarkable bell tower through which you have to pass to enter the church, a particular this unusual for the churches of the province of Teramo, but not for the ecclesiastical structures subjected to the Abbey of Farfa, an important monastery of the Benedictine Cassinese congregation in province of Rieti. The bell tower, which ends in a spire, is further embellished by several mullioned windows that accommodate two bells.
