It is located in Tozzanella, a small hamlet of Tossicia perched on a spur and composed of a few buildings, one of which is the Church of S. Michele Arcangelo.
The current configuration is probably due to the reconstruction of the previous church, which was destroyed by the earthquake of 1703. The façade is made of stone and has a simple portal with a flat architrave, on whose sides there are small windows, now closed, typical of the era of its construction.
The small bell gable supports a bell, fused in 1977 by the Pontifical Foundry Marinelli of Agnone. The interior has a single hall and houses the statue of San Michele Arcangelo exhibited during the processions.
