The Museum of Techniques and Artisan Traditions which is located in the Palazzo Marchesale in the heart of the village. The reasons behind its foundation are to be sought in the desire to promote the territory in which the village and the entire Sicilian Valley is located, enhancing its precious historical, artistic and cultural heritage. In particular, the exhibition aims to protect, pass on to future generations and spread knowledge among the general public of the techniques and traditions of crafts that have shaped this territory and have characterized the life of entire generations. The exhibition is organized in four different articulations connected to the most important and famous artisan products of the agro-pastoral world, symbolized by as many elements: copper, fabrics, wood and cereals. For each of these elements, the museum offers practical activities and experiences, involving students, teachers and citizens in the knowledge and exploration of materials and related transformation techniques.
