It is located in the hamlet of Aquilano, slightly moved by the group of houses that make up the small town. From the documentary sources it emerges that its construction dates back to the mid-twelfth century, even if today it appears in its renaissance appearance after reconstruction and restoration.
The roof is gabled and on the right flank and on the back of the façade there is a squat and very beautiful bell tower that houses two bells. The interior has a single nave with a transept, in whose arms there are two votive altars.
The wooden high altar is in baroque style, painted in gold, it is located in the presbytery area and is dedicated to the Madonna del Rosario. At the foot of the altar there are some sculptural fragments with decorations, discovered and recovered years ago in the ground behind the church and probably belonged to the eighteenth-century structure.
