It is located in Villa Popolo, one of the many hamlets of Torricella Sicura. Probably built in the second half of the thirteenth century, it is externally with a gabled roof, a small bell tower that supports a bell with the inscription Sancte Bartolomeo now pro nobis A.D. 1643 and a beautiful portico that surmounts the entrance portal. The treasures, however, are all inside, starting from the beautiful ceiling of the sixteenth century entirely covered with over a hundred wooden panels painted by an anonymous artist, probably a soldier of the Spanish army present at the time in these parts, since the style used is similar to what is found in the paintings of the cathedral of Toledo. The drawings that can be admired include Saints, Martyrs and other images related to Christianity. Another gem is the late-seventeenth-century Baroque golden and painted altar, in the center of which stands the statue of Saint Bartholomew, while on its sides are the statues of Saint Anthony of Padua and Saint Gabriel of Addolorata. On a side altar, also in the Baroque style, gilded and painted, there is a statue of the Madonna with Child.
