Church of San Lorenzo

The Church of San Lorenzo presents the peculiarities of the mountain churches inextricably linked to the peasant and pastoral world. It is located at the foot of the hill where stands Faognano, a small hamlet of Torricella Sicura composed of a handful of houses. It was built in the mid-nineteenth century and then completely renovated in 1935. The building is in stone and brick, has a gabled roof and a small bell tower that holds a bell. On the rear and near the left wall, it has a small building that served as a canonical house. On the façade there is a small sandstone portal with a flat architrave surmounted by a small wooden shed.
