It is located immediately outside the small town of Putignano, along the road that connects this town to the hamlets of Magnanella and Villa Gesso. The original structure dates back to around the mid-1200s, but the current building is the result of a reconstruction in the 18th century. On the smaller bell of the two housed by the bell gable there is the inscription Pasquale De Santis of Torano Nuovo melted at his expense year 1885. The interior, although with a single nave, has two side niches in which two altars are placed, one of which is embellished with a canvas dedicated to the Crucifixion of Jesus. In the presbytery area there is a modern altar, behind which there is a large Crucifix and the statues of San Felice and Madonna.
