Its construction was completed in 1959 and is the most modern and large church of Roseto degli Abruzzi. It stands on the homonymous square and has a decidedly modern configuration that in some ways recalls a hut with a singular shape closed at the top by a sort of huge lantern with an octagonal plan.
On the façade there is a large portal which can be reached via some steps that give onto the churchyard, while inside there is a large room with a square plan enriched by many mosaics that recall episodes of the Gospel.
