It is located at the end of the tiny village of Licciano on a hill among the gardens. The first news about the church dates back to 1324, but the current building has been redone several times. It has a gabled roof and a small bell gable on the façade that houses a small bell bearing the inscription Tempore Don Angelo De Fatio curated by Feri fecit A.D. 1690.

The interior is very simple and has a single hall and exposed trusses. The altar, simple but nice, has two statues on its sides, that of San Giacomo, to which the Church is named, and that of the Madonna.
