The Church dedicated to St. Peter is located in a widening at the entrance to the small village of Faiete. It was built on the remains of the perimeter walls of a church rebuilt in the late seventeenth century after it was destroyed by the Bourbon army in 1668 together with the entire town in the fight against banditry.

This in turn had been erected in the place of another church, already known in the thirteenth century with the name of St. Peter of the "Plan". It has a gabled roof and on the façade has squared brick columns which, in correspondence of the entrance portal, form a round arch covered by a small canopy. To this are supported two pillars that support a small bell gable in which a bell is housed. The interior has a single room.
