It is located on a small hill just outside the town of Mosciano Sant'Angelo and, although the original structure dates from the seventeenth century, the current building is the result of a profound restoration of the early nineteenth century.
It is entirely in brick and on the façade has a simple portal which is reached via three steps at the sides of which two square windows open and which is surmounted by a niche in turn surmounted by a curvilinear tympanum. On the back there is a bell gable that supports a bell. Inside there is a single small hall with a semicircular apse that houses the statue of Santa Filomena.
