You meet it by crossing the hamlet of Montone and going towards the sea. The original structure probably dates back to the 16th century, but in 1914 the parish priest Don Gaetano Cardelli launched the work for a new church that saw its completion and its consecration in 1934.

It is entirely in brick and has a remarkable façade characterized by a portal with pointed arches, as well as the pointed arches on the sides, the two arches surmounting the portal and have a central round window and the three arches that house as many bells in the powerful triangular bell tower.

The interior has a triple nave, the central one being the largest, while four small chapels are located sideways to the two aisles.
