Church of Santa Maria

Located in the small village of Altavilla, the Church of Santa Maria was probably built at the beginning of the 12th century. The current appearance is the result of a remake that has modernized the structure.

The roof is gabled and the entrance portal is surmounted by a narrow mullioned window with round arches and preceded by a small roof. To the left of the façade is a sturdy bell tower with a spire ending that houses two bells.
