Slightly removed from the center of the village of San Pietro, it is a church of medieval origin, probably from the 1100s, although today it is in the configuration following the reconstruction of the eighteenth century.
The roof is a gable, the portal has a lunette at the top and on the left is resting a sturdy bell tower with a quadrangular base that houses four bells and culminates with a beautiful dome. One of the bells bears the inscription Apostolorum Principi / Tu es pastor Ovium / princeps Apostolorum / Sancte Petre clemens accipe / voces precantum - Pontifical Foundry Marinelli - Agnone.
