It is located between the ancient houses of the historic village of Villa Petto. It is totally set in the urban fabric and shows traces of the remains of the fortifications of the castle on which it was built.
The original plant had a single nave, but at the beginning of the twentieth century another smaller one was added, tearing down the existing Saracen tower near the entrance that from then on was destined to a bell tower.
Near the entrance portal there is a ceramic tile that depicts Saint Lucia and bears the inscription Ex devotione Rev. S. Berardi Marcone Praep. huius Castri Pecti 1775. NFVGP.
The interior is very beautiful and full of religious and devotional elements, from which stand two Renaissance altars of which the largest, in marble, has the statue of the Savior at the center. Near the entrance you can admire a valuable stoup with foot bearing the date 1568 which, on top of which has a head with wings in relief.
