It is found at the entrance of the small village of Ornano Piccolo and dates back to the Middle Ages although the current configuration is due to the important restoration of 1994 which allowed to fully recover the spirit of the origins working in particular on the stone walls.
The roof is a gable, the lowered arch portal is framed by brick columns topped by a tympanum and at the side and at the top there are two square and a rectangular windows respectively. The bell gable supports a bell.
The interior, simple but very neat and pretty, is characterized by exposed stone walls and a single hall that ends in an apse is divided from the rest of the building by a round arch.
The ceiling features exposed wooden trusses. Near the entrance there is also a beautiful stoup supported by a small stele with a capital with four winged lions at the corners.
