Located in the center of Ponzano, a hamlet hit hard by the earthquakes of 2016-2017, it was probably built in the 16th century, although today there is little left of the original building.
The roof is gabled with a bell gable that houses a bell and the entrance portal is placed in a deep splay with a round arch surmounted by a large round window. The interior has a single nave with a transept and the presbytery area is separated from the rest by a round arch.
On the ceiling there is a fresco depicting the Christ surrounded by different religious symbols.
