Located on a hill, it dominates the small village of Piano San Pietro and has medieval origins.
The roof is gabled and the bell tower is set on the back. The current entrance is surmounted by a pointed arch built into the wall, while on the left external wall it is still possible to see the original entrance that on the side shows an inscription dating back to the Roman era put in place at that point a following the last restoration works.
At the center of the left wall is rather high an heraldic shield probably placed at the end of the XIII century.
