It is of Romanesque style and was built in 1338. It is located between the houses of the village of Castelbasso, a hamlet of Castellalto and has a beautiful façade and a splendid arched stone portal, surmounted by a high relief in rustic art depicting a Madonna enthroned with Child.

The bell tower with a bell stands out from the rear. The interior is graceful and full of religious elements. It has three naves divided by large round arches supported by round columns and houses a stone baptismal font with a marble pedestal bearing the date 1589, near which are still visible the remains of a fresco of the Baptism of Christ.

You can also admire the paintings of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries used as altarpieces and a 6-regimental organ built in 1760 by the well-known organaro Adriano Fedri and restored in 1906. It dates back to 1984 instead the parish house, built on the remains of Church of San Martino, the lunette whose portal houses a castellan ceramic by the artist Arrigo Rosa, depicting Saints Peter and Andrew, protectors of Castelbasso, next to a large cross.
