Angioina Gate (or Oriental Gate, or San Giovanni Gate)

Built in the late fourteenth century, it is the only remaining gate of the ten that characterized the fortified complex Nocella-Campli-Castelnuovo. On the arch are still visible the remains of the coats of arms of the House of Anjou.

The Church of San Giovanni Battista is adjacent to the church and above it was erected in the fifteenth century the bell tower.
