It is located in the historic center of Campli and is the oldest sacred building of the village, since its construction dates back to 1227. It is in Romanesque style, has an imposing structure and is presented with gabled roof and a wonderful portal in white stone on which are carved figures of animals and masks and which is surmounted by a lunette enriched by a fresco of the mid-fifteenth century by Giacomo da Campli.
The beautiful and tall bell tower stands behind and houses a bell. The interior is characterized by a single nave and on the high altar built in 1598 stands the emblem of Ranuccio Farnese (1569-1622), Duke of Parma and Piacenza.
