It is located in the small village of Campiglio, composed of scattered houses that are distributed along the only street of the village. A little off the road and hidden by trees, the Church of Santa Maria is very recent, as it was built in the 70s of the twentieth century, and was erected there where once stood the medieval church of Santa Maria ad Campillium.
It is made of reinforced concrete, has a gable roof and the simple entrance portal is preceded by a canopy, also in reinforced concrete. The bell tower with a spire ending and a single bell are located on the back.
