It is located just outside the town of Bellante, on the so-called Colle della Civita. Of this ancient church there are only the monumental remains, clearly visible and fascinating, which also testify to the presence of a Carmelite Convent annexed to the ecclesial structure.
The origin seems to be the thirteenth century and currently it is possible to admire the remains of the façade, the bell tower, the perimeter walls and the ruins of the convent.
On the upper part of the façade there is a large window surmounted by a lunette, and beside the simple stone and brick portal there is a small kiosk that contains some sacred images. The bell tower is placed on the right wall and its upper part has two superimposed single lancet windows to accommodate the bells.
The interior, which has long been totally free of roofing and is now swallowed by vegetation, suggests the ancient presence of round arches and paintings and wall representations. At the corners are still visible some hints of Corinthian capitals in stucco.
