It is located in front of the Town Hall and was inaugurated in 1980 by the then Municipal Administration and the Alpine Group with a highly attended 1st Regional Alpine Rally.
It consists of a 25-meter-high obelisk with two marble plaques bearing the name of each citizen of Basciano who fell in the war.
