In a small open space between the houses and near Porta Penta, the ancient south-east gate of the fortified village, is the Church of S. Flaviano. There is news of it since 1073, although the current construction is a remake of 1562, when the village belonged to Andrea Matteo Acquaviva, Duke of Atri and Count of San Flaviano (ie the current Giulianova).

The roof is gabled, the bell tower has two bells and the brick façade is surmounted by three pyramid-shaped pinnacles. The original wooden portal has been replaced by a bronze one enriched with relief figures celebrating Saint Flavian and of evangelical episodes, while the lintel bears the inscription Ore tuo Xpe benedictus sit locus iste / pax sit intranti benedictio quoque moranti / sacrum hoc divo Flaviano dicatum publico aere / instauratum est anno Domini 15LXXXII.

Above the portal there are three large half-sixth windows, strongly splayed. The interior has a single hall, the presbytery is separated from the rest of the room by a large round arch. On its right wall a funeral headstone from the beginning of the eighteenth century is engraved on the wall on which the celebrations of two members of the Caracciolo family are engraved.

On one of the small side votive chapels you can admire some frescoes including one related to the Crucifixion. Finally, in the sixteenth century are the baptismal font and the two paintings depicting S. Flaviano and S. Rocco.
